Summary
Most people believe other people DO NOT LIKE CHANGE! It’s not true. People LOVE change when it benefits them. It’s when they don’t see or understand the benefit, people resist. They don’t resist change, they resist the unknown and perceive it could be more negative for them, then positive. Leading through change takes significant skills and insight. This message equips those going through it and those leading it.
Purpose
Most change happens to us. We don’t get to initiate it; we just have to respond. However, we can still own the change as if we created it. Understanding what drives the fear of change, also reveals how to do more than manage change, but thrive in the midst of it!
Results
A perspective and understanding that lets individuals and teams own the change happening all around them, preventing a defiant attitude or victims’ mindset!
